Winter Flowerbeds

I spent the day getting my flowerbeds ready for the winter. With all the rain that we've had in NWA most of my flowers still looked good but I knew that they wouldn't last long with the colder temperatures that are here now. I pulled out the periwinkles, coleus, and mondo grass and replaced them with pansies, snapdragons, dianthus, and some ornamental cabbage. I also got everything mulched.

The "after" pictures look bare but I know that in a couple of months it will be full of color. It's so nice to have color in the winter when everything else is brown and dead looking!

Thanks mom for all the plants!!
