Random Thought Thursday

The weather in NWA is AMAZING right now!

I love having the AC OFF and sleeping with the windows open.

I can not believe it's the last day of September already. Tomorrow will be the start of the last three months of 2010. Really?!

Speaking of the last of 2010. I'm so ready for all the holidays coming up. Abbe's Birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, My birthday, Christmas Eve and Day, and New Years Eve!

We are addicted to TV. Our DVR is on overload! I'd be embarrassed to list everything that we watch- it's ridiculous.

I got our fall candles from Pier One yesterday and can't wait to get them out with all the fall decorations!

I have been listening to a mix CD of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals for 3 weeks straight. Over and over and over. and. over.

I'm going to start reading "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" this afternoon. I've heard the trilogy is great so I'm excited to get started.

My favorite quote ever- People will only be as happy as they choose to be- Abraham Lincoln

HOGS vs. BAMA

The HOGS played Alabama this weekend and it was a heart breaker. I thought for sure we were going to win it but we handed it to them in the fourth quarter. Boo! We had a great time tailgating though!

Weekend Away

This past weekend Mike and I headed to Branson for a weekend trip. We both needed the time away and had so much fun.
Friday night we ate at Joe's Crab Shack.
Yes my bib says "I love getting crabs."
We played some putt putt at Lost Treasure Golf.
Then we went to the Hollywood Wax Museum.
The outside of the building looked so promising: But the wax figures inside were terrible! We still had a good time laughing and taking pictures though.
Saturday morning we went to the Titanic Museum. It was really neat to see all the real artifacts they had from the Titanic and walk the grand staircase.
We went to a great bar and grill to watch the HOGS play. There were a lot of other Arkansas fans and the view overlooking the lake was beautiful!
They had the best margaritas!
Watching the HOGS beat Georgia!
We spent the rest of the day shopping at the outlet malls and then had dinner at Montana Mike's.
Sunday morning we headed to Silver Dollar City. Mike had never been before. We rode roller coasters, stopped at all the little shops, and had some awesome BBQ there.
Oops- Mike's head got cut off!
Riding the train back to our car.
I so enjoyed the time away with Mike and sure hope that we get to do it more often!
