Boring!

We've been spending a lot of time close to home so there hasn't been a whole lot of exciting things happening with us lately therefor not a lot to blog about. We have some fun things plan for the summer though so hopefully I'll be back to blogging soon!

First Day of Summer Break

I spent my first day of summer break working, but afterwards I met Abbe out at a local restaurant for some margaritas. It was a beautiful night so we sat on the patio and enjoyed some live music. I love spending time with Abbe. We always have a great time. Last night we would reminisce about old memories and just laugh and laugh.

Wedding Season

This past weekend we went to Helen and Brett's wedding at a place south of Fayetteville called, Stable on the Hill. The weather turned out to be perfect and we had a such a great time celebrating with everyone!

Sunday was spent relaxing and studying. I have my last final tomorrow and then it's summer break- WOO HOO!

Flowers Make Me Happy

Last weekend I went down to Ozark to spend time with my mom. She owns a nursery and I told her I would trade her labor for some plants. :) These pictures were taken with my iPhone and do not do the flowers justice!

Sunday I came back to Fayetteville with a car load of plants so I spent the afternoon planting my flowerbeds and pots.

This past week Mike has been out of town for work. It's been so strange not having him around. I've missed him and the routine that we have. He comes home tonight and I can hardly wait to have him back!

Low Key Weekend

Our weekend was very low key. I had to work Saturday so we had a quite night at the house Friday night. Saturday night I went to a friends bachelorette party. We all met at La Huerta for dinner and drinks and then headed to a friends house for cake, presents, and more drinks! The girls had the house decorated so cute and we had a great time playing games!

While Mike has been watching the Masters ALL day, I have been getting caught up on homework. I only have 6 more classes and then it's finals!

Easter Weekend

Friday night it was rainy here in NWA, so Mike and I decided to get take out, rent movies and stay in for the night. We rented Brothers and Where the Wild Things Are. They were both very good!

Saturday we headed to Baum Stadium to watch the HOGS play Kentucky. It was a beautiful day and the Razorbacks won 10-1! We were in the outfield for about 5 hours without ANY sunscreen- we're both bright red and hurting! Angie and Austin- the newly engaged couple! Congrats!

Angie moved away from NWA last Spring so I haven't seen her in forever! It was so fun to get caught up and hear all the wedding plans!

Mike and I- SO SUNBURNED!Easter Sunday we woke up and found that the Easter bunny had left us some Cadbury eggs. Yummy! It was another beautiful day so I spent the day outside in my flowerbeds while Mike got all his softball gear rounded up and organized. League play starts this week!

Mike's 30th Birthday Weekend

We had a great weekend celebrating Mike's 30th birthday!

Friday we went to the Razorback baseball game. It was a little chilly with the wind but it didn't stop us from cheering on the HOGS to a victory.

Saturday I baked Mike's cake and got caught up on some housework while Mike watched basketball and took a nap. That night we went to dinner at Louie's sports bar. There were about 15 of us. I'm sad I didn't get a picture of the group. The boys watched the basketball games while us girls gossiped! :) We ended the night at Hutches playing pool.

Sunday was Mike's birthday so for lunch we ate at his all time favorite restaurant Hunan Manor and spent the rest of the day relaxing!

It was a great weekend!
