Sick Days

I woke up Tuesday morning and knew that I just didn't feel right. I decided to go ahead and go to school and even went to work that afternoon. By Tuesday night, I had a sore throat and a lot of pressure behind my ears, under my eyes, and my forehead. I knew there was nothing I could do until the morning so I took some NyQuil and hoped for a good nights sleep.

After tossing and turning and not sleeping for most of the night I decided to head to my doctor's office early Wednesday morning. He said that I have strep throat and a sinus infection. Blah! He gave me a prescription for Amoxcillin and told me to take Aleve for the headaches caused from the the sinus pressure.

He also told me that I needed not to go to work or have a lot of contact with anyone because I could be contagious. Which has been so hard cause all I want are snuggles and kisses from Mike and he can't even come near me.

So I've spent the last two days in bed.

and watching WAY too much TV!
I'm hoping that I can make it out of the house tomorrow and go to work for a little bit! Fingers crossed, cause I'm already going stir crazy!

Abbe's Camping Birthday Weekend!

This past weekend we celebrated Abbe's birthday! She decided she wanted to do a campingtrip out at Beaver Lake. We all had an awesome time!

Mike and I got out there Saturday morning. We got our tent set up first then enjoyed time sitting around camp before heading into Eureka Springs to the Rowdy Beaver to watch the HOGS play. The game was a little disappointing but that didn't stop us from celebrating Abbe's b-day.

When we got back to the campground we had A-MAZING smoked ribs, potatoes, beans, S'mores, and peach cobbler! We played Apples to Apples, hung out around the campfire, and then called it a night. Sunday morning we had coffee and then started a HUGE yummy breakfast. The food is favorite part of camping! :) Mike and I headed back home around noon so that we could watch football and sneak in a nap before getting ready for the work week.

I think Abbe had a fantastic birthday weekend and we were so glad to be there to help her celebrate!

Girls Night In Tulsa

Last week we had an fantastic girls night out in Tulsa. We went to Cain's Ballroom to watch Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Both bands were awesome and we had so much fun dancing and singing!

On the way there we past this guy and DOG on a motorcycle going 70 mph!
